Facts

Rock Scrambling in The Peak District is known locally as ‘Weaselling’ after an old village tradition of hunting the weasel on midwinter’s day.

Weaselling is a year round activity and is not weather dependent.

Bouldering in the Peak District

Squeeze through gaps, climb over boulders and jump across the rocks in this high octane activity. You’re guaranteed to get wet and muddy as well as having a great time.

Equipment

All equipment required for the activity is provided, clients will need suitable, comfortable clothing for the weather conditions, including water proofs. Trainers or sensible footwear.

Snacks, drinks or a pack lunch are welcome for this activity.

There is usually a short walk to the weaseling venue, ranging between 5 - 15 minutes, and can sometimes include walking up hill. There are no toilet facilities at any weaseling venue.

Typically half a day;

9:30am to 1:00pm
or
1:00pm to 4:30pm

Evening sessions can be provided to suit work commitments, times can be negotiated and costs will be determined from times.

Safety information

All instructors are qualified, and hold up to date First Aid training. Policies and Procedures including Risk Assessments are in place.
